Divine Mercy Catholic Academy, a ministry of Divine Mercy Catholic Community, serves students from the Space Coast in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade by developing each child’s Catholic spirituality, academic ability, creativity, responsibility and independence in partnership with family, church and community.
A solid foundation steeped in Catholic values and identity, along with academic rigor is the cornerstone of Catholic education. For half a century DMCA has delivered quality instruction in a Christ centered environment. Parish and school communities work together to address the spiritual, academic, social and self- management skills that all students need to succeed.
DMCA holds fast to the idea that “we don’t teach subjects…we teach children.” It is this belief that drives our students to be the best they can be. Using a Catholic lens to view the world, we educate the whole child not only through core curricular subject matter, but through active participation via ongoing stewardship efforts.
In an atmosphere of trust and cooperation, students will develop a capacity for critical thinking, the awareness of their own learning styles, an active love of learning and self-confidence from being addressed as an individual.
DMCA offers opportunities to grow in faith, to challenge thinking and to take risks developed under the moral compass of the Catholic/Christian doctrine.
